My great feeling after the supervisor meeting!

After a long time, I had a great feeling after my meeting with Elena and Allyson (20.May2014 at 1:30PM).
Ethics:
I asked about Ethics Application that how I can proceed? Allyson said that they (Allyson, Elena and probably Bill) are working on it.
Interview Contest Forms:
Allyson had made some corrections on the form which she explained to me.
Questionnaire:
We did read line by line. There was some corrections (which I did the corrections later and sent to both of them. Elena did ask for few small changes and I did).
Coding:
I also talked about my coding, but I did not get any specific comments on it.

Life is too short to suffer for doing a PhD!

Phd is just one part of my life and I think I did take it very serious. What does happen if I do not finish on time. I know I have tried my best. My superego is happy...

I woke up early this morning and I came by bike. Now, I know that this PhD is not that much valuable to ruin my life. Now I know that I have to finish it and I have to work on it, but I also like to do it with fun. I do not like to do it and suffer. I hope I can proceed it that way...

I like my life, I like my friends and when I look better I see that there are lots of hardships that my friends are facing, mine is nothing...

Coding by reflecting Bloom!

What can I do now for my coding:

1) Using Excel and mapping the objectives with just Revised Bloom's Taxonomy
2) Using Excel and mapping the objectives with Revised Bloom's Taxonomy plus the knowledge dimension
3) Using NVivo

Objectives contain 2 elements:
1) The noun providing the basis for the knowledge dimension
2) The verb forming the basis for the Cognitive Process dimension
At this stage, I concentrate on verb dimension only.

Coding again!

A new week and a new start...

Last week, I spent all my week on writing. Today I want to work on my coding! Im sure it will be a great and productive week...

No Contact!

Yesterday was the best day ever! I turned off my mobile phone and I did not open my Uni email. I could writ around one page and that is a great progress...

Meeting with Joy Ryan!

Allyson told that I need to see Joe Ryan in order to follow up my Ethics Application. I met him yesterday after setting an appointment.
How nice he was! He treated with dignity and respect...

He said that I need to see Willy Sher...

Meeting!

I could realised that I was almost shaking when I was waiting for Allyson and Elena, dont know why!

The meeting was ok. I did write a summary and sent to 3 of them:

Dear Allyson & Elena,

Thank you for the meeting on Wednesday! I summarised what we have discussed. Please correct me if Im wrong:

Structure of thesis:

I have attached a draft of my writing structure. Im sure it changes in future, but I appreciate if you let me know your opinion! I also attached my tentative plan. Elena, thank you very much for spending time and revising my writing. I need to be more precise in my writing and use more reliable resources. Elena, may I have the electronic copy as well?

Coding and analysis: 

Elena, can you please forward the resource that you were talking about (level of thinking)?

Ethics:

I will follow up my Ethics Application. I do have a meeting with Dr. joe Ryan tomorrow morning. Elena, I had already sent some documents for revision. Can I have those revised documents please? (I have attached the whole application as Allyson asked). 

Conference:

I asked Allyson about attending a conference which I agreed that it is better to concentrate on my research at this stage. 

Regular meeting:

Can we set a time for having a regular meeting every fortnight? Tuesday is fine, but time?

Dear Youka and Majid, Mum, Dad and my little siter,

Nobody knows how much Im in pain, how much Im suffering from my current situation. Nobody knows the hardships. Nobody knows my feeling!
I know one thing for sure. I don't let this people make any decision for me. I don't let this people ruin my life. I fight for you Youka. I fight for you. I do my best for you, just for you.
I hated all of this. I hate all of them that just think about their benefits. I was not like that, a hateful person, they made me to do so.
